White Tailed Eagle in Norway

As Neil and I emerged from the tunnel connecting Nordkapp to mainland Norway, we disturbed a White Tail (Sea) Eagle from it’s ledge above our heads. It took off, swooping low above our heads, we saw it’s large shadow first, cast by it’s 8ft wing span. Then as we ducked it flew over our heads out to sea. We had no camera ready at the time, so we have placed a library photo in the blog to just show the true beauty of the 4th largest Eagle in the World. A truly Fantastic bird, powerful, graceful and elegant.

Circle2Circle and home again.

Neil (right) and Dave (left) shake hands on the completion a successful Motorbike ride to the Arctic Circle and back gain. With 6,700km under their belts in 17 days both riders have worked hard to return safely to Avebury Circle in Wiltshire. With family and friends to greet them the ride is complete, however they need more support for sponsorship. They will be live on the Graham Rogers (BBC Radio Wiltshire) Show at around 11:30 on Sunday to talk about the Wiltshire Air Ambulance and their Motorcycling Challenge.

Well done guys, good job well done.
